'MasterDAQ' is a low cost, retro-fittable, automated Process Data Acquisition System for pressure die-casting machines. It monitors multiple key process parameters for multiple machine networks and displays these through graphical representation. The system is available with Statistical Process Control, using audible and visual alarms to indicate if the process is either approaching or outside acceptable limits on each machine. The system is controlled by a Central PC located in a convenient control room.
System Specification: Data acquisition module mounted to machine. Windows based data acquisition software. Robust, high reliability non-contact displacement transducer. Pressure & temperature transducers as required. Continuously monitors and displays key parameters for up to 32 networked machines. Five analogue inputs per machine in standard configuration, one pressure, one displacement, and three other pressure/temperature. One digital input for shot initiation per machine. Ten key parameters calculated at end of shot, including Fill Time, Intensifier Pressure, & Biscuit Length. Shot data is output, in real time, to digital outputs for process warning lights to indicate whether the process is in control for that particular shot on that particular machine. PC also indicates status for each shot. Stores all data captured and outputs SPC data as and option.
